- Plans and implements nursing care for residents, including administering medication and obtaining specimens for testing
- Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Evaluate the patient’s physical, mental, and emotional status and provide routine care for patients.
- Observes patients’ health and reports patients’ status to Doctors.
- Always maintain patient confidentiality.

- Responsible for helping residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADL’s), including bathing, feeding, dressing, skin care, positioning, ambulation, toileting, and range of motion activities.
- Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse/LPN.
- Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine and recording intake and output information.
- Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials, transporting patients, answering the patient call lights and requests, and reporting observations of the patient condition to the licensed Nurse/LPN or appropriate personnel.
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment such as cane, crutches, walkers, lift, side rails, brace, splints, and oxygen.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques, basic wound care, and patient safety.
- Always maintain patient confidentiality.
